for the first time ever in hotel faculty of our university, we did a field trip to Jogja!! Yay! Thank you for all the efforts either from the class or from our coolest lecturer ever, Mr. Dan! We made it! We did the trip under the subject of Art and Culture, and we visited many temples and restaurants. We stayed in a villa, a very comfortable one. This picture was taken inside of a museum which is belong to Mr. Dan’s family. 5 days of refreshing, we enjoyed the trip A LOT. Looking forward to our next endeavor!

Hey, so as you guys may notice, though hotel faculty was not genuinely faculty that we chose at first, but as time goes on, we start to believe that we are true hotelier. and of course along with 2 internships that we have done, we experienced several issue regarding hotel topics it self, it could be service, products, managements and so forth. So, I will start to write more about tips, facts that you may not know before.

Have you ever notice why are some qualified staff at hotel will remember your name not only after you have stayed many times, even after several nights! Tips to remind a guest’s name after first introduction

 * repeat a guest name for 3 times quietly. 

* After the guest leave, try to picture their face again in your mind or if not possible, try to remember one thing that stand out from their appearance

this will not help only the hoteliers, but also for those of you who would like to gain networking in a social events. so good luck! 

during our internship, this two lady were celebrating their birthday, however we didnt gather as a class so they decided to treat us (yay!) after internship done. They are Fika and Cipli. thankyou for treating us for those delicious foods and gathering the whole class for the first time after internship, appreciate that!

anyway, we wish both of you a very successful life ahead, and keep in touch with the whole class always.cheers!
